For our October meeting, we will hear from Dr. Edward J. Blum, Professor of History at San Diego State University. He will discuss concepts from his recent book, “War Is All Hell: The Nature of Evil and the Civil War,” which examines 19th century America’s conceptualization of evil in the politics, people, and events of the Civil War.
